Heppner Wood Works is a family owned and run local business.  We specialize in rough cut lumber of all dimensions.  We are mobile and will mill on your site.  If you have logs or old reclaimed wood that you need processed, we handle that too.  We also offer cabin and remote land improvement such as pioneering driveways and building pads to fire breaks and fuel removal. Other services offered by Heppner Wood Works are custom furniture, chicken coops, and green houses. If you already have a cabin or cabin kit that needs to be erected, we offer years of experience in cabin assembly.

History

Steve opened his first sawmill in 1980 just outside of Sonoma, California. Later he moved to Alaska, working in the logging and wild land firefighting industries. He returned to his home state of Montana and continued his dream of a family run sawmill business with his sons in Helena, Montana, founding Heppner Wood Works.
